HELP SEND OVER 3,000 MEDICALLY CHALLENGED CHILDREN TO CAMP FOR A LIFETIME EXPERIENCE

Over the past 20 years, I have had the opportunity to volunteer in many organizations. However, my past two years volunteering with Camp Twin Lakes is by far the most enriching volunteer experience of my life.

For those that do not know, Camp Twin Lakes is a not-for-profit organization that offers year-round recreational, therapeutic, and educational programs for children facing serious illnesses and other physical, emotional and life challenges. With its network of partners, Camp Twin Lakes provides life-changing experiences for thousands of children each year at its state-of-the-art, fully accessible facility, located on 500 acres in Rutledge, Georgia, and at other locations throughout the state.

Last year, I had the unique honor to help support Camp Twin Lakes expansion plans which led to the opening of a second camp at Fort Yargo State Park. This summer Camp Twin Lakes at Will-A-Way was booked each week and provided the venue for 7 new camps to open allowing over a thousand medically challenged youth the opportunity to enjoy camp with their peers and creating joyous memories for life.

This year, I am chairing the Spin For Kids charity bike ride along with my good friend David Shoulberg. Together, we share a vision of increasing participation and raising double the funds so that even more children can reap the benefits of Camp Twin Lakes.

Please join me again this year by making a donation to Camp Twin Lakes so that even more children can partake in the benefits of CTL in years to come. John and I personally have made a $5,000 committment this year and hope to raise triple this amount through our friends and family and the extended Halperns' team friends and family.

IT IS ALL FOR THE KIDS!

Sincerely,

Laura Barnard
